$65.00 / 750 ml
The wine has a deep garnet color and is strong with earthy aromas of mushroom, tart fruits like blueberry, and subtle toasty notes. On the palate the wine has a bright acidity followed by a firm mid-palate with candied fruit flavors, and ends with a touch of cocoa powder.
  • Varietal percentages: 100% Pinot Noir
  • Vineyard(s): Sanford & Benedict Vineyard
  • Vineyard Notes: Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is renowned for both its historical significance and the continued quality of the fruit it produces. This vineyard is blessed with calcium rich clay loam soils with a lot of fractured shale and chert- a result of the sloughing off of the top half of this mountain over 1 million years ago.
