Perchance Estates was founded by a group of friends who were visiting Napa Valley to celebrate a birthday. During a tasting with celebrated winemaker, Mike Smith, he offered to make wine for the friends with fruit from the renowned Beckstoffer Vineyards. The group never intended on being vintners and "by chance" they were offered an unbelievable opportunity. Good fortune and great timing offered them a portal into the fascinating world of winemaking, and a thrilling, once-in-a-lifetime challenge.
The 2023 "On the Whisper" Sauvignon Blanc is a refined Napa Valley white that exemplifies the elegance of old-vine fruit. Aromas of lemon curd, key lime, white flowers, and brioche lead to flavors of tropical citrus, ripe stone fruit, nectarine, honey, mature pineapple, and melon.
