Their commitment to their land is unerring, with their team constantly seeking out ways to implement new and innovative sustainability practices in their vineyards and winery. Since Rathbone acquired Yering Station in 1996, their ambition has always been to simply make great wine. Yarra Valley
The end of 2022 saw severe flooding across the region, so when the sun came out in January, the team rejoiced and so too did our varieties. Picking began almost three weeks later than usual but despite the delay, fruit parcels could be delivered to the winery without any haste due to the perfectly warm days and cool nights. The longer, drawn-out vintage meant that every block and variety had all the time they respectively required.
