TYPICITÉ WINES
Collin Cranor and Craig Ploof are not only business partners, but also share responsibility for winemaking duties. They have a common goal for every wine – to reflect the grapes' origins. The name typicité was chosen because it reflects their pursuit to make wines with a sense of place that are balanced and delicious. <br />The two are meticulous in the cellar and their shared experience working on single vineyard wines is the driving force. They favor cooler fermentations with the use of whole clusters and 10-14 month barrel programs in exceptional French cooperages. The select vineyards represent some of the most coveted Pinot Noir grapes in California and showcase the discernable qualities of the areas they are grown.
