  • Vineyard Notes: The fruit comes from a selection of blocks across the historic Mount Langi Ghiran vineyard situated in the Grampians region of Victoria. The soil type is granite sand over red clay loam with an average vine age of 25 years. The clone/rootstock is Swiss & PT23, with majority being own rooted.The combination of Langi's cool climates, old vines and granite soils produces Shiraz with great intensity, purity and finesse.

Having a knowledgeable understanding of the vine makeup, to them, truly represents what sustainable longevity.

Winemaking Highlights
A mixture of plunging and pump-overs during an average of two weeks on skins. Once fermentation was complete, the wines were pressed to tank to settle overnight and then transferred to barrels to complete MLF.
