ANDERSON FAMILY VINEYARD
This vineyard has been their family's mission since they founded their 20-acres – an ancient pile of fractured basalt – in the Dundee Hills in 1989. And since, through years of clearing and planting, supply of superior wine grapes to several winery partners, and creation of their own hands-on small-batch bottlings, their goals have remained the same: plant on steep slopes, grow deep roots, deliver intense flavors. Enjoy.

Tasting Notes
This small family-owned vineyard in the Dundee Hills may be home to the steepest vineyard slopes in all of Oregon. The phenolic ripeness, which reached very low sugars, has resulted in a wine of Old World balance and depth with plenty of Oregon signature fresh fruit and minerality. Aromatics of red and blue berry fruits mingle with dried violets, forest floor and fresh mint. The palate offers so much verve and energy yet balances it with an umami-driven complexity. Flavours of bright early-season blackberry and turned earth, as well as flint, clove and cola lead into a finish marked by elegance and finesse.

Anderson Family Vineyard Pinot Noir 2018
Tasting Notes
In a ripe, opulent vintage across the Willamette Valley, this Pinot from high in the Dundee Hills expresses those bolder fruit elements while still clinging to the elegance of the site. Fruit drives the aromatics as red raspberry and ripe strawberries mingle with crushed stone and a touch of leather. The palate rounds out with red and black berries ripe in the August sun, sumac notes, black tea, and a finish with tingly spices led by white pepper.

Anderson Family Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017
Tasting Notes
This small family parcel on an unbelievably steep slope produces wines of elegance yet concentration, and this 2017 vintage exemplifies that. The aromatics of violets turned earth and crushed blackberries. The palate is intense, with juicy blackberry, black plum and clove wrapped around a core of earth minerality. Sous bois, soy-driven umami and smoked sea salt, drive this complex Pinot Noir towards a very long finish.
