Highlights
  • Varietal percentages: 100% Syrah
  • Vineyard(s): Morningsong Vineyards
  • Vineyard Notes: Morningsong Vineyards is our 20 acre estate vineyard located on the valley floor in the heart of Dry Creek Valley. Stretching from Dry Creek Road to the banks of Dry Creek, it is comprised of the loose, gravelly soils typical of the area, providing excellent drainage. Our proximity to the Russian River Valley means that the vineyards linger in the cool morning fog before the sun begins to warm them. There are five acres of Syrah planted.
  • Certifications: Certified Sustainable by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance

AMISTA VINEYARDS
Their 20-acre estate vineyard — they call it Morningsong Vineyards — is on the valley floor in the heart of Dry Creek Valley. When they don't grow their own, they acquire grapes from their neighbors — in Dry Creek Valley and Rockpile. They want to be able to walk the vineyards, taste the fruit and have a personal relationship with the people who grow the grapes.

From Our Sommeliers
“Ready to experience a truly unique sparkling wine? Well, you are in luck with this brut style sparkling syrah. I've never had anything quite like it. This wine is great for harder-to-pair cuisine like a Teriyaki marinated salmon or more traditional Szechuan (Sichuan) dishes like Dan Dan Noodles.“ - Elyse Lovenworth
