The Story
Founded in 2024 by Chelsea Hinman Miller, Tior marks her transition from the family business to her own brand. Chelsea, daughter of Doyle Hinman—one of the founders of Oregon's wine industry—grew up on Hinman Vineyards, established in 1972. Immersed in wine and vineyard management in Eugene, Oregon, she has made the wine business her career. Tior honors her parents, especially her father, who studied winemaking in Geisenheim, Germany. "Tior," meaning "deer" in an old German dialect, reflects the wine's roots. Tior's Oregon Pinot Noir captures the Willamette Valley's essence with a bright fruit profile, appealing to a new generation of wine drinkers.
