$55.00 SOLD OUT
/ 750 ml
The 2020 Estate Syrah showcases aromas of blackberry, chocolate, allspice, and a hint of caramel. The entry is soft, rich, supple, layered with flavors of blueberry, raspberry, and baking spices. The midpalate is generous and lush, segueing into a finish low in tannin structure.
  • Varietal percentages: 84% Syrah, 16% Grenache
  • Vineyard(s): Halter Ranch Estate Vineyard
  • Vineyard Notes: The estate vineyard was initiated in 1996 and has since been expanded to its present 200 acres of certified organic grapes. Twenty grape varieties are planted on the steepest, most south-facing slopes on the property at an elevation reaching 1,950 feet and providing excellent sun exposure. The emphasis on quality in the vineyard is complemented by a commitment to environmentally responsible grape-growing practices. In July of 2023, all 200 acres of grapes were certified organic by the California Certified Organic Farmers.
  • Farming: Organic Practices
  • Certifications: California Certified Transitional Organic Farmers
