Renaissance Rosé of Nebbiolo 2021
$28.00 SOLD OUT
/ 750 ml We call our DANIEL Rosé Renaissance because it is reimagined and reborn every harvest. This year, Dan chose Nebbiolo, the noble grape of Italy's Piedmont region, famous for Barolo and Barbaresco (spoiler alert: yes, we have a red DANIEL nebbiolo in barrel). Grower, John Albini is in his element working with nebbiolo, a relatively rare variety in the US. His family has been farming in Sonoma County since arriving from northern Italy in 1913. The Albini family has worked closely with the earth to produce the finest of her fruits. You can taste that labor of love in this wine. Our 2021 Rosé is pale, salmon pink in the glass, the nose is delicately perfumed with notes of wild strawberry. The palate is laser focused with a regal backbone and bright acidity. Flavors of stone fruit, honeycomb and a hint of white pepper meld together for a refreshing finish.
