Medlock Ames Wine Tasting The Pinnacle Series
Journey through this flight of three distinct Cabernet Sauvignons from Bell Mountain showcasing the peak of perfection from this vineyard site.
Wine Flight
Wedding Tree Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Opens with aromas of toasted caramel, lush blackberry, wild blueberry, and elegant raspberry, leading to notes of tobacco leaf, rosemary, and sage. The full-bodied palate is filled with juicy cherry and hints of cranberry. The tannins are pronounced but well-integrated through the long finish.
Fifty Tons Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
A boldly spiced wine with raspberry custard and pie crust aromas. Dark dense berry fruits, black currant, plum, and cocoa powder fill the palate. This is a pure expression of Cabernet Sauvignon with dry smooth tannins that extend all over the mouthfeel. A youthful fruity cabernet with long aging potential.
The Flag Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
The inaugural 2019 vintage of The Flag offers powerful aromas of blackberry, coffee bean, and cocoa powder with supporting notes of fresh herbs, walnut, and lavender. On the palate, the wine provides a dense juicy core surrounded by silky, velvety tannins and shows flavors of currant and fennel, followed by a long, lingering impression of concentrated wild berries.

About the Winery
Medlock Ames Winery was formed in 1998 by college best friends, Chris Medlock James and Ames Morison, who set out to produce award-winning wines from Bell Mountain Ranch. Their winemaking philosophy is for each wine in each vintage to be the ultimate expression of their land and of the year inwhich it is grown. The grapes they grow at Bell Mountain Vineyard are full of personality. They believe in reviving elegance in agriculture and strive to maintain a natural balance in their vineyard. Organic farming requires healthy, fertile soil and all of their farming practices revolve around that goal.
