Fresh and lovely as an aperitif to start any dining experience or perfect on its own, this sparkling wine pairs with everything, no matter what or when the occasion. Noting a very faintly salmon-tinged pink color, very fine bubbles and a gentle mousse, the wine opens with a fresh and lively nose of light strawberry and the scents one might find in a bakery early in the morning. The palate is delicate and refined, with toasted almond and unsweetened marzipan characterizing the entry. The beautiful but balanced acidity from these cool growing regions supports merengue, marshmallow and the strawberry flavors into the finish, livening up your taste buds for food. Our Brut is finished in the dry style.
Estate Merlot - Yountville 2018
Upon smelling our 2018 Merlot you'll be greeted with aromas of a fresh boysenberry pie and beautiful hibiscus floral impressions, along with hints of pencil shavings and bay leaf. Tasting it reveals an echo of berry and maraschino cherry flavors, with savory and tart nuances of pomegranate molasses. The small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec in the blend give the wine length on the finish and added complexity. The supple and silky texture belies the structure that will surely allow it to age beautifully.
Clone 337 Cabernet Sauvignon - Rutherford 2018
Our clone 337 continues a long string of fantastic examples of the beauty of this Cabernet clone. The dark garnet color in the glass draws you in for a nosing of rich cassis fruit, dried strawberry, lemon peel and herbs de Provence. The taste is redolent of rich cassis liqueur and raspberry compote, with a hint of pastry crust that evokes a berry pie fresh out of the oven. A long finish, bright acidity, and fine-grained tannins frame the flavors and denote a wine that will deliver pleasure for many years to come.
