The influence of barrel on this Pinot Gris leads to a richer and more elegant expression of the grape. Austere but brooding characters of Italian plum, strawberry, peach, apricot and cream mark this broad and eclectic wine. Brioche and an element of spiced, preserved citrus keeps the weighty, persistent palate together.

Notes of dried rose petal, pine, and cranberry lend the wine a perfumed character while oregano and black cherry center it and maintain the tension that makes this wine so intriguing.

Located in Amity, OR Authentique's focus is single vineyard designate Oregon Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Stewards of the land, they work with Tilth Organic and Demeter Biodynamic certified grapes.
