Renee Ventrice
When Renee was 8 years old, she flew face first onto hot, summer asphalt while failing miserably at learning to ride a bike. She didn't know it then, but this experience of a mouthful of hot rocks and melted tar, mixed with grass clippings and dandelions, would shape her palate's recognition of the non-food factors in wine, and her appreciation for savoring the flavor of life experiences. She is a US Navy Veteran, an award winning tourism entrepreneur, a published author, and a WSET certified wine educator. She and her husband of over 30 years, Don, live in Loudoun County Virginia with their 19 year old Jack Russell, Beemer, and have a 26 year old son, Gino. While she STILL cannot ride a bike, she CAN drive a conversation about wine, life and experiences beyond the glass!
