Wine Flight
LamBentz Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc - Napa Valley 2021
A quartz-like minerality from the site is the overarching theme of this wine. Aromatically, the wine exhibits white stone fruit, specifically white peach, and a white reductive floral character or white hibiscus. On the palate, a citrusy, tangerine, Meyer lemon-like acidity keeps things lively, while the wine has just enough weight to avoid being creamy or heavy.
Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley 2018
Vibrant and medium to full-bodied, with the dark ruby/magenta hue maintaining its depth of color to the rim. The color is reminiscent of dark Bing cherry. The aroma delivers layers of dark cherry, plum, dried herbs, licorice and dusty earth. Flavors sing notes of rhubarb, black cherry jam, blueberry, light plum, leather, tobacco and mincemeat. The texture is supple and approachable. The finish is a smooth and well-balanced, with medium acidity and tannins.
Deux Chevaux Vineyard Rabicano Bordeaux Blend 2019
The initial aromatic impression is of black and red raspberry, lingonberry jam, and chocolate ganache with a touch of thyme. The aromatics pair perfectly with a taste of macerated dark cherry, raspberry, clove, cinnamon, and vanilla. The finish delivers broad, chewy tannins that are offset by the fresh fruit and natural acidity of this wine.

About the Winery
Being a sustainable winegrower means producing high-quality grapes and wines; protecting the environment; being a responsible neighbor and employer; and maintaining a thriving, long-term business. When Tamber Bey vintner Barry Waitte purchased an established 60-acre vineyard in the Yountville Appellation of Napa Valley in 1999, he initiated a long-term plan for the property that would meet his objectives of sustainability, land preservation and diversification.
