Wine Flight
RMS Brut Sparkling 2018
Recently disgorged aromas include pear and honeyed quince fruit, white citrus blossom and vanilla perfume, with nice lemongrass hints. The palate is at once zippy with acidity, yet very creamy textured. This is a signature of cool climate growing. Fruit flavors include granny to pink lady apple, pear, with a touch of freshly bottled Soave white wine. Long citrus, honey, and vanilla spices sail into RMS's typical seamless finish.
RMS Brut Sparkling 2017
This wine is Elegance Personified. Immediately, the wine's aroma is white rose petals, while a mid-sniff reveals Naschi pear and apples accented by bright lemon and dragon fruit citrus. Yeasty creaminess adds lovely complexity. The flavor is a racy line of oyster shell brine rounded by a great combo of Bosc pear, red plum, and white nectarine laid upon a bed of dulce de leche creamy caramel, popcorn dusted with white pepper, and a tincture of tangerine zest. The wine exhibits our cool-climate growing conditions.
RMS Brut Sparkling 2016
No two vintages in the Willamette Valley are identical. So goes our RMS Brut program! Look for an especially floral nose of orange/lemon citrus blossom and white chrysanthemum framed by yeasty, toasted baguette. With the tiniest of bubbles dancing across your tongue, look for an amazing complexity of fresh Anjou pear, white grapefruit, Kaffir lime leaf, and hints of guava and Buddha Hand citrus. Crisp, palate-tingling minerality at the foundation leads to a spectacular pear, yeast, and white nectarine finish.
