Paradise Springs Winery Wine Tasting Kindred Spirits
This flight of chardonnay, pinot noir and merlot highlights the best that the winemaking team and the Santa Barbara terroir has to offer.
Wine Flight
Chardonnay, Sta Rita Hills 2019
This Chardonnay starts with tropical aromas and subtle citrus notes. The flavor profile is led by Asian pear and lemon curd, which are followed by a creaminess from the lees stirring. This Chardonnay is well balanced with good acidity and a soft structure that highlights the ripe fruit and minerality.
Pinot Noir, Sanford & Benedict 2017
The wine has a deep garnet color and is strong with earthy aromas of mushroom, tart fruits like blueberry, and subtle toasty notes. On the palate the wine has a bright acidity followed by a firm mid-palate with candied fruit flavors, and ends with a touch of cocoa powder.
Fing Merlot 2019
The F'ing Merlot is a full-bodied wine composed of three of the five noble Bordeaux varieties. Merlot takes center stage while small percentages of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon were added to give some complexity. Bright red fruits and toasty oak flavors dominate this wine, and abundant but subtle tannins give a great mouthfeel that comes together on the finish.
