Wine Flight
Estate Semillon 2019
The deep, yellow-green color of this wine hints at its barrel aging and vibrant character. One smells lime, grapefruit and cantaloupe at first glance, then ocean water and fresh tobacco through the finish. This white Bordeaux is light bodied, but distinct with minerality, bitter melon, and grilled apples continuing long after the last sip.
Estate Zinfandel 2017
The wines dark cherry color, with a light garnet rim. Aromatic rose petal, blackberry, cola, and licorice scents are enhanced by a touch of cedar and black peppercorn. Ripe, fruity, black raspberry, plum, and rhubarb flavors are heightened by notes of anise seed, black truffle, and toasty oak. Expect perfumed forward fruit thru 2020, then a deeper, almost Gigondas-like wine in the decade to follow.
Reserve Estate Merlot 2018
This is a wonderful wine showing what the mountain vineyards of Carmel Valley can produce. This wine is ruby in color, with a delicately layered nose of earthy mushroom, sandalwood and butter toffee pecans. Vanilla-spiked dark chocolate and dusty, black cherry build on the palate before the muscular structure sets in. Spicy, black pepper runs through the finish. This a Cab-drinkers Merlot!

About the Winery
Joullian Vineyards was created by the Joullian and Sias families of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Early in 1982, Joullian Vineyards, Ltd. purchased 655 acres of hillside benchland at an elevation of 1400 feet, in the heart of the remote Carmel Valley with the goal of producing estate-crafted wines with the complexity, finesse and ageability characteristic of the finest wines of the world. In 2015, Joullian Vineyards, Ltd. was acquired by the Hammler Wine Corporation. Owned by husband-and-wife team Tom and Jane Lerum, Hammler Wine Corporation is committed to carrying on the legacy of the Joullian brand and will continue to focus on crafting exceptional wines. With strong ties to both Oklahoma and California, the Lerums are working hard to build upon Joullian's historical success and ensure its sustainability for generations to come.
