This Chardonnay from the ‘lost vintage' of 2020 shows that not all is lost. This Chardonnay brings bright aromas of wild dill, crushed chalk, petrichor and bruised apples, eventually giving way to a palate that marches in unison. Spiced apple flavors, pear, ginger and a mineral undertone of gunpowder are carried to the finish by elegant acidity and a delightfully textured Chardonnay.

ANDERSON FAMILY VINEYARD

This vineyard has been their family's mission since they founded their 20-acres – an ancient pile of fractured basalt – in the Dundee Hills in 1989. And since, through years of clearing and planting, supply of superior wine grapes to several winery partners, and creation of their own hands-on small-batch bottlings, their goals have remained the same: plant on steep slopes, grow deep roots, deliver intense flavors.
