
The Story
Michael Kennedy is a Certified Sommelier who worked as a Sommelier at two Ritz-Carlton properties, first in Washington DC for two years, followed by the Grand Cayman property. At the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, Kennedy served as Beverage Director at the restaurant on site, Blue by Eric Ripert. In 2014, Michael Kennedy and his wife Rachel launched Component, a winery focused on creating single-variety, single-vineyard wines from Napa Valley, Bordeaux & Provence in France.
