Picpoul Blanc 2021
Picpoul Blanc is a Rhône varietal commonly associated with the Languedoc-Rousillon and Châteauneuf-du-Pape regions in Southern France. Picpoul Blanc literally translates to lip stinger, a reference to its natural high acidity. Although we traditionally use Picpoul Blanc as a blending grape, in special years we will bottle a standalone offering. The 2021 Picpoul Blanc features aromas of crushed pineapple, lemon zest, and a touch of crème brulée. The flavors are bright with stone fruit, citrus, and lengthy acid that creates a vibrant texture and mouthfeel.
Vermentino 2021
The 2021 Vermentino showcases aromas of white peach, lemon and a touch of honey. The palate is soft and rich upon entry, with flavors of orange zest, citrus, marmalade and a touch of minerality that comes from limestone-rich soils.
Rosé 2021
Aromas of guava, ripe kiwi and watermelon rind. On the palate, our Grenache-based blend imparts notes of tropical fruits, feijoa and pink grapefruit, with a bright and crisp minerality.

About the Winery
Located in Paso Robles, CA All 256 acres of Estate vineyards are 100% CCOF certified organic. The certified organic Estate vineyards makes up only a small piece of the Halter Ranch estate. We are dedicated to preserving a diverse environment and mitigating the effects of a monoculture. With less than 10% of our property dedicated to farming and building development, the remainder is left to the natural landscape, which includes oak woodland and migratory wildlife corridors.
