A racy entry is dominated by citrus flavors and followed by a balanced, round mid-palate. The finish is long and mineral-driven.
ORSA Rosé of Pinot Noir 2022
Provençal style Rosé leads with aromatic notes of grapefruit, fresh strawberry, and crisp pink lady apple. The delicate minerality is accompanied by flavors of grapefruit, rhubarb, and rose water. Carries all the natural acidity one would expect from a direct-to-press Rosé and a hint of lingering salinity.
Alta Orsa Estate Hillside Cuvée 2020
The nose presents with brooding bramble and prosciutto, complemented by notes of English Breakfast tea and all-spice. Flavors of dark ripe plum and luscious bing cherry, with chewy tannins make it a great food pairing wine. The finish is long and satisfying, with notes of espresso and cacao nibs that linger on the palate.

About the Winery
Located in Hopland, CA Alta Orsa is the story of land, the vision and labor of their small team — led by their winemaker Martin Bernal-Hafner. The core chapter of their story is centered on a holistic approach to farming. As stewards of this 160-acre mountain property, they tend to 12-acres of hillside vineyards with regenerative organic practices — treating their soils as a living ecosystem and nature as our partner. Patience, observation, science, and experimentation guide their approach. Since the planting of their high-density vineyard in the late 1980s, they have practiced no-till farming, minimal organic sprays, cover cropping, no tractors between the rows, and no herbicides under the vine. They sincerely believe this philosophy preserves the unique sense of place and leads to wines that are classic, elegant, and worth laying down.
