Lili Shariati lives and works in the heart of California's wine country. There she heads up hospitality and wine education at a picturesque estate winery nestled into a rugged canyon against the steep hillsides of the Vaca Mountain Range in the northern end of Napa Valley. Her foray into the world of wine began back in 2013 when she found herself at a dinner at the same property she now manages. Smitten with the wines, the place and the people, she asked for a job on the spot. Lili continued expanding her palate and career in her next position as a sales representative for a small importer with a focused portfolio of fine wines from around the world. Prior to beginning her wine career, Lili was putting her degree in public relations from Syracuse University to use in the corporate world. All the while, she was fueling her passion for food and wine: attending culinary school … a stolen month to travel to Tuscany to pick olives and grapes … a stint as a cheesemonger.
