Halter Ranch Winery Wine Tasting One Grape Wonders
To be able to produce single varietal wines that can stand on their own is a testament to a winemaker's skill and craft. This white and red flight exemplifies how winemaker Kevin Sass's attention to detail and craftsmanship contines to set the bar for Paso Robles' wines.
Wine Flight
Viognier 2021
Our 2021 Viognier features aromas of white peach, apricot, pear, and a touch of white flowers. The entry is soft, rich, and layered with flavors of melon and citrus. The midpalate seques into a clean, mouth-coating finish with subtle hints of honey and cream.
Syrah 2019
Opens with aromas of blueberries, violets, and crème brulée with a berry compote. Soft and silky, the palate offers complex nuances of baking spices, dark berries and wet stone with a hint of earthiness.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
The 2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon features aromas of black cherry, red currant, cassis, and a touch of pencil lead. The palate is soft and rich, exuding flavors of raspberry, blueberry, and a hint of cocoa. Lengthy, integrated tannins lead to a seamless finish.

About the Winery
All 256 acres of Estate vineyards are 100% CCOF certified organic. The certified organic Estate vineyards makes up only a small piece of the Halter Ranch estate. We are dedicated to preserving a diverse environment and mitigating the effects of a monoculture. With less than 10% of our property dedicated to farming and building development, the remainder is left to the natural landscape, which includes oak woodland and migratory wildlife corridors.
